fiestas ajenas (or, Other People’s Parties)

Written and performed by Camelia, fiestas ajenas (or, Other People’s Parties) is a one-woman-horror show in the style of a dinner party. The protagonist, played by Camelia, invites guests to her home to host a dinner in memory of her mother and grandmother. However, she is sabotaged by the antagonist in the story — her home. The piece is funny, vulnerable, and thrilling.

Produced at NYU’s Playwright Horizon’s Theatre School as a part of Camelia’s Bachelor of Fine Arts curriculum.
